Poorly planned overdevelopment only benefits politicians and wealthy developers who have no consideration for the healthy functioning and future of our community. Stop abusing the zoning laws! Zoning laws are meant to PROTECT from simpering politicians and money-grubbing development corporations, NOT to enable them!!!

The clear cutting of the natural areas is heartbreaking while the traffic is frightening, let alone dangerous. The zoning laws should be updated to insist money must be provided for roads and infrastructure for traffic and congestion.

We do not need any other housing communities built. Our streets can not handle the traffic, and the schools are already busting at the seams, we would be doing the students and teachers an injustice by adding more families to our area.

God only created so much real estate and we were blessed with what we have and every day I see more and more of it cut away never to return we have way too many subdivisions and way too many houses that are sitting here for sale right now not to mention all the new apartments and townhomes that have been built recently especially not far from where I live

The city is rubber stamping these projects before anyone can express there opposition. It's all about money for the city and they have no regard as to who or what is impacted as long as they can profit.

I believe there are too many large developments that are being built without considering how it affects surrounding neighborhoods. The traffic and road conditions are not being considered for these developments. I hate to see a smaller town lose its small town charm. They call it progress but it makes me not want to go anywhere.

These developments are being squeezed into every tract of land they can fit them into. Doesn’t matter that they are completely surrounded by single family homes. The purpose of the city AND the zoning board should be to SERVE the community. Not ruin it.

I think we need to stop all of the multi-family building for a while. Wait and see how things are when all that is currently being built is finished. Traffic is ridiculous, our schools are overcrowded and I hate seeing all of our beautiful property being bulldozed.

The city of Greer MUST start regulating the rapid development of the city or all of the beautiful parts of the city that we love will be lost forever.
