One wouldn't really know which chemicals / toxins would be added to the hydroponic water that veggies would be grown in ! Thanks for all you do for humanity.

Hydroponic production is a wholesale abrogation of the principles of organic production--being soiled based and a natural process--and an abrogation of the intent of OFPA.

I believe that soilless food production needs to meet the requirements of soil-grown organic products. Our food production should be held to the highest standards.

Until there are true organic requirements for hydroponics they cannot be certified organic and meet the world wide criteria.

Hydroponic vegetable, or any soilless production of growing crops, will need to be certified as organically grown in a similar manner to soil-grown organic products.

Power corrupts & greed kills. Help true organics survive, not fall to the government corruption if GMO's.

There are no specific organic requirements for hydroponics, so it cannot be certified as organic.

This important issue needs more study and an opportunity for the public to comment on it. Therefore, please institute a moratorium on certifying hydroponic crops as organic.
