Soil is necessary to life. It should definitely be included in "organic". No hydroponic organic certification.

I have no problem with those who grow hydroponically--it can be a great system in certain circumstances. But it certainly isn't "organic!" Soil is!

Why are so many countries ahead of the curb re: so many issues that put their citizens above the profiteers? I hope the USA catches up SOON! Soil is our lifeblood! Save it! Use it well!

Hydroponic growing would importantly need to prove that the water is extremely clean and not contaminated. ALSO that the fish grown to fertilize also not be contaminted with GMO or pesticide residue. ORGANIC Soil grown is proven, organic hydroponic is not.

"Organic" should mean grown in natural soil, naturally enhanced with organic substances.
