The bureaucrats at the education department continue to ignore the reality that these standards are failing our students. I have been spending my time pushing back against their empty promises and documenting the absolute disaster this implementation has become. They think they can wait this out but we are not going anywhere.

Would you subject your child to an untested medical procedure? Why do that with their education? Would you trust a medical procedure developed by statisticians and bussinessmen? Why do it with our children's education?
Testing should be used as a diagnostic tool, instead of the sole measure of success for students and teachers.
Please put a three year moratorium on high-stakes testing relating to the common core.
The rush to put Common Core into effect was a perfect example of haste making waste
Again things are forced on experienced teachers by inexperienced legislators. Please allow teachers to do the job they have been so expertly trained for.

Education has never been so out if cinque! It is not what is best for kids unfortunately... The fallout better get your attention soon!

This all follows such a familiar pattern in education, The administrators give teachers something to implement and rush it through. The teachers are then left with hours and hours of work just to make the thing work.
