We need dedicated Pickleball courts. No other sport competes with another for space or is forced to accommodate to inferior playing conditions such as multiple lines on the playing surface and a different height of net. Does football play on a baseball field and vice versa?

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. We need more places to play outdoors. Adding courts in Mooresville will help alleviate the overcrowding in Huntersville and Cornelius. Plus, outdoor locations can be open longer hours for those folks who work during the day. Also suggest making outdoor courts lighted so that in the fall/winter you still have plenty of hours to play. Thanks!
I challenge anyone to ride by Caldwell Park in Statesville on any given Saturday morning to see the crowd that comes from Mooresville all the way to Wilkesboro to play this great game. It is the future of local recreation/competitive play for ALL ages!
