On March 17, 2007 Tommy Leek died while playing the game he loved at rigdon park. Tommy loved the game of basketball he was always playing. I want the city of columbus to change the name of the court after Tommy. He made his last jump shot on that court and thats where he took his last breath.

The momentum behind this renaming is undeniable and proves the city of Columbus cannot ignore Tommy any longer. It is time for the Parks Department to stop stalling and finally honor the legacy of someone who gave everything to that court.

Such a terrible tragedy for the community. Renaming the court is the least we can do to keep his memory alive.

Tommy was a legend on those courts. Everyone knew him. It only makes sense to honor him like this.

RIP Tommy. Still think about him every time I drive past the park. He was such a good kid.

I grew up playing ball with Tommy. He worked harder than anyone out there. He deserves this.
