So, I asked Moksha McClure if she would be interested in running for Treasurer again and she said, "Sure!" So, here's what I know.

Since she became treasurer, she successfully transferred Mensa Hawaii's books into Quickbooks and initiated balance sheet/profit and loss style treasurer reports. I am knowledgeable in Quickbooks, Excel, and Google applications.

Moksha has also faithfully updated our local group's finances on schedule with American Mensa's requirements. She also expertly handles all interactions and has developed personal/working relationships with the folks at the local branch of ASB, where Mensa Hawai‘i holds our financial accounts.

Aside from being a great person, she's also a witty and light-hearted participant in our monthly business meeting calls, and she patches in on Oovoo from Kaua‘i! (You could too!)

Being the owner of three businesses has necessitated that she be proficient in correct accounting procedures. Some of her past board experience includes Treasurer of the UH Student Caucus, VP of PR for Toastmasters International, and President of the Pacific Region of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. But most importantly, she says, "I like cheesecake."

I, Kirsten Wolfford, wholeheartedly endorse Moksha McClure for Treasurer of Mensa Hawai‘i on the 2016-2017 Executive Committee.
