Modification to the String Lights Policy

The policy has to change. Lights add to the ambience.

I agree this policy needs to be revised to allow your particular lighting situation.

String lights are beautiful. I just went to Denver and we walked down a street covered in them. It was magical. As long as people take care of them, and they’re the right kind, I think Fireside residents should be able to hang them out back or in their courtyards.

For Fireside at Norterra, the exterior bistro lights add a nice ambiance to the neighborhood. Christmas lights should be seasonal, but the bistro lights are nice.

Consistent unwanted HOA oversight without the will of the neighborhood creates unhappy neighbors. Please allow string lights as Phoenix is known for their "backyard living" which drives the desire to have more ambient light. Rules generated outside of the will of the people results in bickering, unwanted fines, and disgruntled neighbors. Do the right thing and overturn this HOA rule.

String lights should be allowed, they are classy and help deter theft the more your house is lit in the evening anyway.
