Bistro-string lights are visible all over the valley (including N. Scottsdale with similar topography) -DC Ranch with a $40+ million dollar sale, Old Town Scottsdale, Scottsdale, in general, and more. They add a touch of class, adding character and charm to our wonderful neighborhood. We have lived in several areas of the valley and never, have we seen string lights or bistro lights as an issue. People like them. There is a Vast difference between Holiday lighting, which is beautiful for the season, and classic bistro lighting, found most everywhere, including Northern locales. The lighting is soft and looks welcoming and certainly not disruptive, as compared to the blinding LED lights, which are found all over this neighborhood. We are asking you to please reconsider and to help make our community one of greater charm and additionally adding more security with lighting.

Agree! All our surrounding neighborhoods allow them. As long as we have limits on strands and feet and color - we all should be fine!
