Took a long time to see and fix the error and therefore the question took longer than it should and so the rest of the exam was rushed and also delays whilst people were trying to work out what was going on.

I was also not told at all about the mistake, which will affect all my answers for question 1

I felt also that the amount we were expected to do in the time given was overestimated, though that could be attributed to time pressure as a result of question 1

I was not told at all about the mistake in the exam. All my answers of Question 1 will be affected by this.

I ran out of time so could not answer the last few questions fully

Me and someone else were in a separate room for the exam so couldnt correct the mistake at all so our answers to that question will be completely wrong

I was told about the problem so spent God knows how long redoing it to then find out the wrong answer that I previously did would be ok therefore sacrificing the rest of my marks and stress

I along with many others was not told about the mistake. Therefore I realised I had completed it wrong (due to the mistake) and spent around 15 minutes re-doing the question. This meant that I had less time to complete the rest of the paper and therefore did not finish it in time.

This typo mistake we were not informed of prior to starting resulted in incorrect answers to following high mark qs - already wasting 30mins with no extra time added!!

me and another course mate were not in the exam hall with everyone else and so we were not told about the mistake in the paper at all. This caused a high level of stress, resulting in missing out a large proportion of the paper.

Thank you Mollie, personally I felt this massively affected the rest of my exam as I did the question again and spent valuable time on this. Also it made me a lot more stressed for the rest of this exam!!!

The time lost on this question put me at a major disadvantage for the rest of the paper.

The error meant that so much time was spent on the first question that I didn't have time to complete the other questions. Also, only some students were told about the mistake which seemed very unfair

It did waste my time and influenced my performance on other questions.

I feel like those in separate rooms had a major disadvantage because we were not told that the question was wrong, and I personally spent a lot of time going back to the question several times which meant I was unable to finish the exam

Some students that had been granted extra time due to disabilities, like myself, were not warned half an hour into the exam. Time was spent trying to figure out this question that could have been spent on other parts of the paper! Furthermore a question that should have been very simple ended up taking a lot of time and put me in the wrong mindset for the rest of the exam.

It meant a disproportionate amount of time was spent trying to work out question one, and therefore my later answers were much more rushed.

A question that should have taken 5 minutes took well over 20. It wasted a lot of time.
