The Alesis MMT-8 sequencer was/is by far one of the greatest pieces of live musical hardware ever produced. Nearly 20 years on, it still has a dedicated following and is used in many live situations by acts both famous and unknown. We the undersigned would like to petition Alesis to ask that they release a new 16-track (or better), improved version of the MMT-8, but retaining the excellent usability of the original. We feel certain that it would sell in sufficient quantities to be a viable product, and many of us pledge to buy this instrument in the event of its subsequent manufacture and release. Please, Alesis, give us an MMT-8 (MMT-16!) for the 21st century!
