Yamaha please bring back the BC3A breath controller!
This simple yet powerful device offers unique expression and performance and is a must have instrument for any serious composer and live performer. Yamaha may consider manufacture this product again despite the fact it was design as an accessory for the discontinued VL1 synth. Because of the appeal and demand for this breath controller a small company (MIDI SOLUTIONS) made a little box to connect BC3A and convert the signal to MIDI allowing people who did not have a synth with the special breath controller mini jack to take advantage of this great controller. Here is a cool demo. Bear in mind using physical modelling instruments is by far the best way to get the incredible expression this instrument has to offer. Please pass along to your fellow musicians, Facebook, guilds etc. as we should try to get 1000 names to convince Yamaha there is a substantial demand for this type of product.

Dear yamaha friends, my SY99 is still after 25 years the best synth I ever had but without the bc-wind controller it's missing a limb. Please make it again.
The BC is missing on the market. I mean the real one, not the overpriced copies and also not the Midi-versions that needs a computer to work.
Beeing a sound designer myself I know how breath control can open up a whole world of musical expression. Please do not only bring back the legacy device but give us a whole range of controllers to be used with either - the standard keyboard pedal input - 5 pin midi - usb midi - and not least with the classic Yamaha breath sensor input. thanks for listening!
Breath controller are indispensable appliance for playing virtual instruments (like a Sample Modeling clarinet or sax). I need a BC for my Kurzweil PC3k, for playing VST instruments in my studio... Bring the BC back please!
I depend too much in this great device. I use it with my Korg M3 and with VST sounds, Cant imagine working without it. Plz Yamaha bring back. that was really great feature to be added to our music gears.

The breath controller is an essentiel device to provide more expression to a synthesizer. As a keyboard and saxophone player, it’s the real link between the two instruments for me. Like the Yamaha WX and Akai EWI. Best regards from France.
