We, the MLS fans, urge Major League Soccer to reconsider its association with The Boy Scouts of America. An association that is known for its discriminatory stance against those who are members of the LGBT community and those who chose to not believe in a God. Choosing to associate with such a group sends the wrong message to Major League Soccer's fans and to do so just a day before Martin Luther King's birthday just adds insult to injury. This association also goes against FIFA's Fair Play ideals, which state: "Fair play is a fundamental part of the game of football. It represents the positive benefits of playing by the rules, using common sense and respecting fellow players, referees, opponents and fans." Please show your opposition to discrimination and show MLS that its fan base will not tolerate this partnership.
