We, the undersigned, would like the Parking Consideration for residential streets in Mississauga increased from three (3) hours to five (5) hours.
Currently, in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, the maximum parking time is three (3) consectuive hours. Complaints made against parked cars will cause $20 tickets to be issued after the three hours has passed. Three hours is hardly enough time to visit friends and family (think of summer barbeques, Christmas dinners, Wedding or Baby showers, Hockey Night in Canada get-togethers) and a reasonable time limit is five hours. Please enter your name below to support this amendment. The petition will be forwarded to Mississauga City Council in the hope that the parking consideration time will be tabled, voted on and implemented. Thank you.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you feel the same way about our parking situation. This momentum is entirely yours because I never thought this would reach so many people.

3 hours is ridiculous. You cant even have a proper dinner with friends without constantly watching the clock. Needs to be at least 5 hours.
Ridiculous rule. Just trying to have people over for the game and having to wake up early to move cars is a pain. Do this now.
