Because we need 24/7 vet care we shouldn’t t have to travel miles miles away just so our fur babies die.

I have had animals that needed immediate care and was turned down by every vet in town. Animals die before you can get them to the nearest emergency vet.

I have an older golden. You never know when they will get sick. I had no idea there were no after hours vets in Kokomo.

My fur baby had a stroke a few months ago. I had to wait days to have her seen because I couldn’t afford an emergency vet and everyone was booked. A few weeks later she had a seizure. I’m thankful she’s still with me. She’s doing amazing now.

I love my pets!!! I’ve had to drive to Lafayette twice because of no care available in Kokomo. S ometimes it takes up to 2 weeks just to get an appointment at the veterinarian- it would be awesome to have something local.

I have a senior dog. I'm afraid he might need urgent care in the near future. Illegals get free 24 hour care, why not our pets?

Animals need care, there’s no reason Kokomo citizens should worry about a long drive to get their loved pet help, let alone trying to hurry and get your pet to the place of help at a long distance is unsafe and can cause extra harm/accidents.

Yes, if there could be a trusted vet in the area for after-hours carr, that would be wonderful. The county vets use to rotate weekend on call but that hasnt been the case for a long time.

Our dog was ill forcing us to drive to Fishers, to receive incorrect diagnosis. We were fornuate, our local vet was able to correctly diag & treatment on Monday. We missed work & ended up with huge bills.

Animals need access to emergency veterinary care within a reasonable amount of time, and the closest emergency facility is an hour away.

My pets deserve a chance to live when injured or urgently sick after hours. We used to have coverage. We need it still!

I have had to take my animals to Lafayette and Indy during major weather events, having no other choice.

Agree 100% There is no one to call on the weekends or in the evenings if there is an emergency! There needs to be something set up, vet students from Purdue could get credit for something like this.
