As you may know, marriage has been under assault for some time now. Many on the left would try and use the courts to force a new definition of marriage on the American people. Now that fight has come to Minnesota, in both chambers of the state legislature, there has been ( or shortly will be) introduced legislation that would legalize homosexual marriage in Minnesota. Those of us who believe that marriage is and should always be the union of one man and one woman are outraged. Not only will they not put this before the citizens of Minnesota to vote on ( mainly because they know it would fail.)but we can not force the issue onto a ballet by petitions. I am calling on all who are tired of this assault by the radical left to stand up with me and to tell the state that we want a constitutional amendment forever defining marriage as ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN. If you live in Minnesota please sign this petition, my goal is to get between 1 and 3 million signatures to take to the state capital in St. Paul. As of now there is no specific date, but I hope to be able to march on the capital with the signatures, to show Minnesota does not want homosexual marriage. thank you and God bless.
P.S., please inform anyone you know of this petition.
The feedback received thus far confirms that many citizens remain deeply concerned about the protection of traditional marriage. I have spent this time gathering information to better understand the legislative landscape at the state capital. Your commitment to this cause provides the necessary foundation for our future efforts.

The momentum behind this effort has surpassed my initial expectations. It is clear that the citizens of Minnesota care deeply about the preservation of traditional marriage.

Marriage has always been one man and one woman. Stop trying to change history to fit a new agenda.
