I've been a Northstars fan ever since their first season in 1967. I was 7 years old and that's when I first fell in love with hockey. I still watch the Wild but I don't get excited for them like I did with the Northstars, every Wild game I go to I wear my old Northstars jersey and hat. I grew up going to North Stars games in the 80's. As for the Wild, I hate the name, hate the logo, & I don't watch them. Change their name to the North Stars & bring back the "N" logo. You can do it NHL because you hold the trademark to the North Stars name & logo.

Everything about them as the identity of MN seems forced, like we are dating a new girl and are trying to show our ex that we are in love, when in reality, we still love our ex and wish she was back. Do what it takes, we need to cheer for the North Stars again, I need to hear that goal horn and I need to see those green and gold jerseys flash across the ice again. Same team, just need to give them our real identity.

Terrible and embarrassing to name minnesotas hockey team anything but the north stars. By naming them the Wild (ugh) we lose all history and heritage - not to mention one of the best logos in sports.
