Sony finally reversed their decision and cross play is actually coming to our consoles. I am completely drained after this long fight but I am glad we forced them to listen. We accomplished what they said was impossible.

My Name is Miká (or gamingguidesde). I am a german Minecraft Console (PlayStation only) Youtuber. Me and the whole Minecraft PlayStation Community are very upset, that Sony refused the new Cross Play Version of Minecraft Console.
In this case we want to open a petition to show Sony, how many People are disappointed about that decision. We would love to see this brand NEW Minecraft Version this summer - also on PlayStation.

I own Minecraft on a Nintendo Switch, but my friends own it on PS4. We have always wanted to play together, but none of us could afford a new console. When this update was announce, we were extatic, but then devastated to discover it wouldn't work on PS4.

PlayStation says it's to protect the younger demographics and yet you go on call of duty or battlefield or many other rated m and under mmo games and this demographic is still present and subject to the same situations as would be on minecraft
I want this update because my family dosnt have enough to pay for a new console I rather would not pay an extra $400 for one game I also am a huge fan of Sony don't want to switch over to Microsoft I have the ps1,2,3, and 4 PLEASE ACCEPT THIS OFFER
It's not just about minecraft anymore. This kind of disrespect towards the whole PS community is bad business. They want to box us out? Well if they don't change their decision guess what console I'm going to next. Never buying anything from Sony again.

Sony do it and leave it for minecraft to make an option to block others from in game options, that would work perfectly for parents that want to keep young consumers safe from any kind of things such as bullying from both PS players and other console players.
