This petition was created to show the Minecraft community's opinion about the EULA that Mojang is enforcing. The EULA will prevent servers from making money and improving their services. With the EULA, popular servers such as TimelessPvP, TheArchon, GotPvP, etc. It has been proven by other servers that complying with the EULA will tank the server and ruin the all around gameplay and experience for players. By signing this petition you will be representing the common opinion that the EULA should not be enforced for fear of it ruining the Minecraft gameplay, community and servers. As well as it effecting those who depend on their server for a steady source of income.

The messages I receive from server owners tell the same story of uncertainty and lost livelihoods. I am pushing forward despite the lack of response from those in charge because ignoring this does not make the damage go away.

Servers have to pay for the developers, design, builders, host and other stuff, the new EULA isn't a good thing
The EULA does more harm than it does good, and in reality, this EULA harms, not only the player's overall experience, but also Minecraft as a whole. In layman's terms, the opportunity cost of this EULA is not worth the trade off's for Mojang at all. Do not enforce this EULA.
minecraft is popular because of servers, and most of them pay to win, so now trying to stop it, is self destruct button, minecraft is already dying with the updates 1.8 and 1.9 all the players in my server are asking me to not update because they don't like the new versions, this doesn't look good, and now trying to enforce eula is gonna make it even worse, in a few years minecraft could be dead like all the other games.
The EULA has been hurting my server, clouduniverse, from being a better server. We need to do this.
There is plenty of market share for the ease of Realms, alot of us prefer the customization and flexibility of a privately hosted server, we've paid for your game, we should be able to play how we want. :)
