Boats should be allowed in driveway and boat corral storage should be 4 years max and then let the next person on the waiting list in.

We don’t think it matters about boats being in their driveways.

I use my boat year round, I can’t keep it charged in the corral and my old boat had its prop stolen off the boat at the corral. At my house it is under surveillance.

We are a waterfront community. I think it is fair to park boats in the driveway.

Its unfair to pay for boat storage and then be told you cant use it or be asked to pay it a srcond timr somewhere else.

Agree with registered boats in driveways.

Not a boat owner but have no problem with others being allowed to keep their boat in the drive until we have enough space for everyone to use a boat corral.

The developers and Mimosa Bay HOA has failed to take adequate action to ensure there is a reasonable amount of storage for the subdivision which has grown dramatically since the original covenants and facilities were established. This failure to grow as the community grew has created a situation where homeowners can not adequately store their boats. Moreover, the Board has failed to take proper action to ensure the singular boat coral facility is safe and traversable. After moderate rainfall the lot becomes muddy and slick leading to a dangerous environment which is placing the board members, the HOA and ultimate homeowners in a position to be subject to liability should someone be injured or vehicles/boats damaged. To alleviate this challenge, the covenants must be amended to allow boats to be stored in the homeowners driveway on a permanent basis.

There is no reason why we shouldn’t be allowed to keep out boats on our property. I also shouldn’t be paying for an amenity for others that I cannot use nor paying for the continued maintenance of this amenity. Also, boats in driveways so not bring down value in terms of real estate.

Build the additional storage and let trailers/boats be in driveways.

We have a spot but support homeowners without a spot to store their boat in their driveway. They pay a fee for the amenity so they should not have to go pay for offsight storage. Kathy Merritt

Please either work the problem of boat storage out for feasible solution, and until then allow boat owners on the waitlist to be able to keep their boats in the driveway.

Please allow this boating community park boats in their driveway as we were sold based on corral being available.

I have a spot in the coral but this isn’t fair! We put a community on the water and if we don’t have adequate space for all then you should be allowed to have your boat in driveway!

I am not a boat owner…I AM for those that are. We have a boat ramp as an amenity. Having the boats in the driveways doesn’t hurt home values!

I think it is pretty unfair that all homeowners cannot have a place to park their boats in the boat parking. A resolution is them being able to park in their driveway.

We don’t have a boat but people should be allowed to keep them in their driveways
