A local, family business AND great cake. Why would this not happen?! Mimi's would bring loads of business in to the area. I can't understand why our council won't support local success but allows us to be flooded by big name, high street brands. #supportmimi

I have visited the Leith shop and it is fantastic, I can only think that this would be positive for Corstorphine.

Edinburgh council you are idiots if you don't approve this - an Edinburgh family business trying to expand their business in a high street that needs rejuvenating - what's not to approve.

We need to encourage new businesses to Corstorphine not discourage them. We have charity shops, hairdressers etc which brings custom to the area so why not Mimi's ? Are other interested companies interested in the property...if not allow them in?

Given the lack of coffee shops etc in Corstorphine, I cannot understand why the Council wouldnt back this?! 100% back Mimis opening in Corstorphine.

Mimi's Bakehouse would be a fantastic asset to Corstorphine. Corstorphine is in dire need of a quality, family friendly place like this and Mimi's would add real value to the local
Community. Having visited Mimi's Leith many times, I can't speak highly enough of it and this is exactly the kind of place that Corstorphine is crying out for.
