I think having Mimis in Corstorphine would only enhance the area based on the Leith branch. The council seem happy to allow endless charity shops and betting shops in the St Johns road, first I use sporadically and later never, however I would use Mimis regularly. Please pass this application.

As a local Corstorphine resident I full support Mimi's planning application. Our High Street is a disgrace and the council should be supporting fantastic local business such as this.

Mimi's opening in Corstorphine? Best idea I've heard in a long time.

Can't believe the council would turn down an application for a Mimi's opening in an empty shop unit - do they just want the shops to sit empty! Lack of parking is a poor reason, do they want people spending money in the area or not. It's hardly a supermarket that they're opening although there always seems to be space for more of those.

Corstorphine needs somewhere like this. At present there is nowhere that offers food/cakes of this quality. I work in Corstorphine and it is difficult to find quality food to buy for lunch unless you bring your own. This type of business would be an asset to the local area.

Would be nice to have something this good away from the town centre/Leith area.

An outstanding family run EDINBURGH business, producing award winning cakes. Would be a real asset to the local community in Corstorphine.

I wish to express my full support for a Mimis bake house to open on St Johns Road, Edinburgh. The area desperately needs additional footfall which would definitely be brought by mimis opening. This would not only benefit new jobs in the area but the surrounding shops would gain the benefit of the additional footfall and subsequent business

Corstorphine would greatly benefit from a good coffee shop to encourage shoppers back to Corstorphine

We need a place like this at this end of town. Be good to see shop filled instead of all the empty shops in run down abit Corstorphine I once new as busy and filled.

Mimi's is a fantastic local business which is fast becoming an edinburgh 'institution'. The council should be doing all they can to help support local businesses grow thus bringing jobs & revenues to local areas.
