Corstorphine would benefit from this as it would bring alot more custom. We need more non central, more easily accessible places like this.

For the Council to be seen to refuse this high quality café coming in to Corstorphine is nothing short of short sightedness.

Corstorphine needs a warm friendly place for people to enjoy homemade cakes and coffee, what better place than Mimi's. Having a bakery brings people in the north of Edinburgh that nice treat, without having to go far !

I think this would bring more shoppers to Corstorphine asthere are not many reasons to go there at the moment.

would they approve it was another pub I think not. Cmon the Council do something nice for a change let this family business open creating jobs and giving Corstorphine a place on the map

Would love to see a local business like this thrive in corstorphine. Good luck and hope that with locals support you can make it happen.

This is ridiculous! Mimi's would bring people to Corstorphine and they may even spend in other shops around eg Angles , Guitar, Guitar. Furthermore I do not think they would adversely affect other cafes as they attract younger people. What is the Council hoping for in this building which has been empty for a while and has, for years , struggled to maintain any business eg Wineshop had to close, Kitchen shop had to close.i think Mimi's would be a very positive addition to Corstorphine

You allow Wetherspoons and the Oak but not Mimis? What, will the over provision of cake bring down the appeal of the place??!!

Planners pleases define the term 'retail' and you'll find that this proposal conforms with the definition.
