Not sure why Edinburgh Council would try and stop joy? Because that's what they're doing if they stop Mimi's from coming to Corstorphine. It's a wonderful family run business and exactly the boost that Corstorphine needs.

Would be a great addition to Corstorphine. Easier to park here than the shore or more so the high street.

Totally believe Mimis should get planning permission as they providing work for the community probably not as much as a high street store but it's a local business which should get priority

The existing, family run Mimi's outlet are highly popular in both The Shore & The Royal Mile with both residents & tourists alike. The CEC should be encoraging & promoting Edinburgh based family operated businesses. After all, it would make a pleasant change from charity shops (which have their place), bookmakers & empty properties. Additionally, extra footfall would no doubt bring increased revenue to other retail outlets in the proposed new site. Councillors, be smart, do the job we pay you for & recommend that the Mimi's planning application is successful.

Please support Mimi's bake house - a super quality baker which will bring much business to this proposed location
Corstorphine needs something like this. There is a good enough bus service for it to be a "go to" destination. Plenty houses & work places in the area that would attract people. I see no reason for permission to be blocked. It won't take away from other local businesses the way Sainsburys Local & Greggs does.
