Final supporters
Military bases across the nation have been contaminated with numerous chemicals, to which active duty and veterans have been exposed to. The EPA, the Pentagon, and Congress are aware of these issues, but have been downplaying the problems all along. Something needs to be done quickly because people are suffering and dying because of their exposure. 149 bases have been designated as Superfund sites by the US Environmental Protection Agency, meaning they are amoung the most hazardous areas in the country. KI Sawyer AFB, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is one of those sites. I was stationed there from 1972 until 1976, at the height of use of these different chemicals. Please help me bring national attention to this problem and force the EPA, the Pentagon, and Congress to act.

I was a crash firefighter from 1971 to 1975 at k l Sawyer afb I have diabetes heart problems a d many other conditions associated with contamination
i created one toxic page for one of the bases i grew up on that was very toxic while it was active and is still contaminated today. How bad today is now a very darkened matter being the air force has decided to pull their public released reports from the usafce public reports site on the matter of PFAs. So there's no telling what they are trying to hide now or keep from being open knowledge for the public that is living there and the surrounding area of the old base.
My 2 sisters were station at Please Air Force Base, NH-separate times. They have both had cancerof internal organs.
I was stationed at Pease AFB and have been fighting health problems since, yes another SuperFund sure the government refuses to cover our health problems for
Pease ANGB 92-2017 full time 02-17.

Been there from 1990 to 2018, I have several issue at the moment but VA is not recognizing the cholesterol, nervous system issues as service connected. Doesn’t matter if you served a day or for 40 years you should be thinking about this issue. Why? Because it was not only Pease that has contaminated water. Look it up
