I’m starting a petition to overturn the new regulation surrounding the docks at Milford Lake. The new regulation states, “no fishing, hunting, or trapping within 50 feet of the docks”. The corps of engineers has put up signs that state this new regulation around all the docks and will soon be placing buoys 50 feet from the docks that show the 50 foot boundary. This new regulation takes away water that is publicly owned. Many people were told to contact the Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks and Tourism Commissioners to voice their concerns about this new regulation. Public water is public water. This petition is to overturn this new regulation that taxes away our access to this water.
