this is seriously having an impact on my desicion to buy in the area. we have cancelled house viewings and put pur search on hold. I think it's very likely we will go elsewhere.

Getting in and out of Bramhall is already a nightmare, even outside of the rush hour. Persimmon appear to be unable to respond adequately to residents' concerns in the "consultations" they've attended.

Changing access point to Adswood will only add to the already congested Garner's Lane/ Councillor Lane.
Diverting access will also add large trucks to the existing ones we are having to deal with in relation to the biomass plant.

The site has far to many risks to be built on, local residents have the uncertainty of the affect this will have on their health - the local area would not cope with the extra traffic and the services are all over stretched already - no room at doctors, or dentists the schools are over subscribed! Utter madness!!!

I have lived here for 32 years & my neighbours have been here longer we back onto the land & have seen the plans to build a waste tank directly behind our fence. We strongly object to the build on this contaminated land not only on health issues but traffic on Bramhall Lane is already a nightmare plus Doctors Dentists schools etc are already full.

Enough traffic coming off the Estate already could take all day to get off. Houses will be built on landfill.

The roads are already gridlocked, there is no way anyone could cope with more traffic. It it unacceptable that we decrease so many areas for wildlife as well! We are already facing massive declines in birds, bees and other insects which are crucial for our economy system.

I object to this proposal due to the little regard that is being given to the local community. Health and safety is going to be a massive issue, during the building works and for the wider community when contaminates are removed from the site.
Existing homes are not lucky enough to have existing ground barriers to prevent contaminates leaching into their homes when the weight and impact of 200 new homes are added, leaching is not going to only happen in the top 3 meters of ground so current protection methods seem highly inadequate.
Persimmon homes also appear to have poor feed back on the quality and follow up support of their new builds, which certainly does not inspire me tonthink they will do well with such a delicate piece of land!
Also the infrastructure of the local community has not been taken in to consideration, road traffic and conjestion adding to pollution, doctors and dentist wait times are already difficult. Most local schools are full.

This is the non-removal of brown asbestos from the sister site at Harcourt Street, North Reddish - the highly technical bin bag and stick method. One "expert" even takes off his own respirator, so he doesn't understand the nature of the work he is doing:

I am very concerned about the waste that they are going to disturb when doing the work, the roads that are already too busy and the access to the new estate. The fact that they aren’t bothered about adding to the community by building school, medical centre, shops! They just want to cram as many homes on the land with out a care for the already existing community!
