The drivers on Gambill Rd are not looking for school students early in the morning. I have seen near accidents when I run early in the morning.

Whenever I see these middle school students waiting, in the dark, on this corner of a somewhat busy and winding road, where vehicle speeds frequently exceed the posted speed limit (according to VDOT studies), I've wondered why this bus stop could not be moved into the neighborhood's interior.

I agree that having 7-8th graders wait at a stop on Gambrill Road, at a point where the road curves, is not safe.
Putting the stops in the neighborhoods seems much better
