I'm one the thousands of Cakewalk SONAR Platinum users that is asking Microsoft to come in and save the day! It may be even to Microsoft's advantage to keep the Cakewalk, or SONAR platinum name, as its name recognition is already established. Cakewalk SONAR platinum POWERED BY MICROSOFT.

Potentially could be the best music software around. Please rescue it from vanishing. Thank you.

Cakewalk was always on Windows and has been around longer than any other DAW in the world. With all the philanthropy Microsoft and its owners do, this would be a wonderful step to demonstrate that Microsoft means well and is a superior company to any other (i.e. Google).

Save our product; we paid for it and we use it and you can make this work... likely for nothing more than a song!

Yes. I mean this can't be happening. Sonar is by far the best DAW even if less known. It just needs god marketing.

This just isn't right. Everyone should bail on Gibson. Fender and PRS. Screw Gibson and Epiphone.

An unfair end for a great DAW

have been a a loyal user of this software and would be great to see it continue, recent improvements to the software have made it a real powerhouse and a viable pro option to the apple software

I've been a loyal customer with Sonar, both the Studio and Producer versions, since version 3. From what I understand, Sonar is the only Windows-powered DAW I know of that has full accessibility to screenreaders like JAWS. I ask that someone please save Sonar so that us blind folks will continue to have our accessible music-making machines.

I am user of Sonar Platinum. Before I have used Digital Performer (MOTU), Vision from Opcode, Cubase, Ableton, but SONAR is the best DAW I have used. It is almost unvilievable that one can throw away such a special piece of good software . I am able to participate in any effort to save it. I have also been a long time software developer plus an enthusiastic musician and long time Sonar user as well as amateur music producer

SONAR provides just the right balance of user-friendliness and power for many, many users. All of which happen to be Windows as well. It's a win-win.
