Microsoft. Please rescue Cakewalk and Sonar out of Gibson.

This has been a Windows only app forever! It is the most forward looking music app I have ever known. The first to support hyperthreading, the first to support Windows 64 bit.
Gibson are in financial trouble so are jettisoning anything they can,, but you guys at Microsoft have a little cash lying around don't you?
We hate that Apple have taken a great program like Logic and made it into Garage Band - we need something that is Windows designed and built, and that is already there in Cakewalk Sonar Platinum. Bill, we don't mind if you want to make your own Garage Band from Sonar, but let's at least keep this great bit of software alive!

Cakewalk has been the foundation for me and my family's music production and creativity. My sons are producing music with it, and hope to pass this great DAW on to future generations!

It is our only DAW since 1992...we create and made music for more that 40 shows for theatre stages in Romania and Europe...We recorded music for bands in Romania , Europe and USA...

I am a Sonar Platinum user. This expansive DAW fulfills all my creative needs. I would like to see development/support continued as in my opinion it is the best DAW on the market.
