Sonar was the first DAW I used and I would love to see a wonderful corporation like Microsoft take this great moment for them and the Sonar community to make a huge impact on making music on Windows to the next level.

Cakewalk Sonar is the only Digital Audio Workstation software that is optimized solely for Microsoft Windows. It seems a "Logic-al" move for Microsoft to adopt Cakewalk as the Windows answer to Apple's Logic DAW. There would be great synergies in having Sonar integrated and optimized further for Windows as its de-facto DAW standard.
