There is a long standing, stable user base, which should ensure economic success, for anyone who takes it on.

Cakewalk Sonar is a fine piece of work ad is clearly one of the best DAW software packages available. Gibson has made a serious error in judgement regarding its handling of the situation and something must be done to save this product.

I have used Cakewalk products since Ms DOS based MIDI sequencer to full package Ms Windows based DAW. Nothing beats Cakewalk for over 25 years. Microsoft should consider to acquire / adopt it and continue developing it as it will open new market for Ms.

I have used Cakewalk with Windows for over 30 years in its many forms. It is important that I still keep using the same OS and Cakewalk too as I am so comfortable with it!

Yes, sounds like a good match!
Sonar is one of the few exclusive music applications that keep me on the Windows platform.
