I love this software.
I'm a lebanese composer, and used to work on this software since 1994 (cakewalk apprentice, and professional) on windows 3.1… and I have all the versions till sonar platinum.
Please, save this software.

Sonar is a fantastic DAW and should definitely be maintained. The market exists. The users are ready. Just do it !

As there was word Microsoft was working on a DAW, this would be the PERFECT acquisition.

Hello from Athens, Greece. I use Cakwalk Sonar DAW, since it was not even a DAW. It was just a MIDI sequencer from "Twelve Tone Inc.". In NAMM 2018, other DAW manufacturers are announcing "new features" we have and use for years now. Cakewalk 100% deserves a chance to continue developing this great DAW. Thank you.

I believe someone not picking up cakewalk would be a mistake,one because its a powerful piece of recording software.But also because under better management it could become one of the biggest DAWs on the market.
It needs a native mac version and more resources behind it.
