Played against Mick when he was a lad at Moulton v Cheveley in the 1950's very talented then. Last saw him as a player when I officated at Kings Lynn one evening in the 1980's during an Eastern Professional Floodlit Lge match. Deserves this recognition so come on Town Council. An amazingly consistent performer, who could have been playing at a much higher level, during the time he was at Lynn. I saw many matches at the Walks, in the 60's and 70s. I never saw a poor performance from him and never saw a match where he didn't give his all and inspire those around him to do the same. Furthermore he played the game in the right way. A real rock and a true gent .If ever anyone deserved such recognition for unstinting service to the town and its community, then Mick surely does.

Played a few times with Mick in the seventies for Kings Lynn Town. He certainly deserves this recognition.

Mick had an allotment at The Chase, He would find the time to chat with me as an 11/12 year old. Apart from being a Lynn legend he is true gentleman.
