I used to support Kings Lynn FC in the 1950's and 60's. Mick was always inspirational to me and many supporters in those far off days. A definite legend and fully deserves to be honoured by the town he served so well.

Remember "gentleman" Mick Wright during my connection with the club during Len Richley and Reg Davies days. Cannot think of anyone more deserving of this honour for the sporting example he has set. Well played Mick.

Back in the sixties when I was involved with KL Football Club I painted a portrait of Mick. I don't know if he still has it? I was with the new supporters club at the time.

Let's hope Mick gets the freedom of the borough!!! I have known Mick all my life, he was my late father Paul's business partner. I remember Mick giving the Fashanu's a run for their money in his testimonial at The Walks. Have seen Mick crawl to work after a match and NEVER complained!! Great man!
