Amplifiers should be regulated by the City . Take the busker’s license away!!!! street performers who violate the rules and have no regard for the pain and discomfort that they cause should not be allowed to perform again. This man has had many police complaints against him and I do not understand why he still has his license!

While I appreciate the performers right to entertain the masses it is disturbing the peace. He needs to tone it down. You can hear it now in the winter with windows closed, can't imagine how loud it will be once spring comes.

They are violating a city code. The law is not being enforced. Enforce it. Confiscate amplifiers EVERY time they are used. Then people will get the message.

She can still sing but street performer should have a policy not use amplifications so it won't disturn shops and near by residents.

I met you awhile back through Tony Karamuzis whom you know very well as I do you mentioned to me that your father was a physician I myself am a practicing emergency physician .. I work night shifts, sleep is a huge commodity to me and I don't have enough fingers to count on my hands how many times my sleep pattern has been disrupted by this singer I'm sure when your father was practicing medicine he had worked long hours and needed his sleep as well in order to function properly at his practice... this situation is pathetic and beyond ridiculous...FIX IT!

The singer and others performers are frequently intrusive to my at-home life. They interfere with meals, entertaining friends and family, sleep and even my rest when ill. At times I have gone to work sick so that I could escape their constant singing, music, announcements and large, cheering crowds. Also, according to the CPD, these performers earn a lot of untaxed income with their shows and performances on the public way. While everything and everyone is heavily taxed in Chicago, street performers get a super sweet tax-free deal while tax payers suffer in their own homes.

My wife and I live in the closest unit to this singer and it's upsetting that I have to turn my television/music louder just to try and drown out his amplifier.
I work off hours and sometimes I sleep during the day only to be woken by his singing. I can't get rest in my bed and I can't get relaxation in my living room. Please enforce the code that is already in place. I say again: please enforce the code... That's already in place. What good is a code or a law if it's not going to be enforced?
