Town of Columbia has got to be kidding regarding the "sign vs. mural" issue - move your business to Willimantic - if the town does not grant a variance.

This is shameful that the town of Columbia would ask that this tasteful mural that is responsible for a young persons scholarship be covered over. There are murals all over Willimantic that enhance the town and encourage the arts.

I cannot believe the Board of this City can be so ignorant This is so obviously beautiful... they should be thankful and should start a competition in town for others to do the same... I have been to cities that have had many of these buildings and it is so unique... we drove all over town to see all of them!
