Truly think about how many people this is effecting. Think about how bad this looks on a school as a whole. As a graduate from maize and a former employee I have always been proud to be a eagle but now I am highly embarrassed that this is going on. The sad thing is it's all about money and power not about the kids.

We went from 5 to over 100 students joining friendship club in just a couple years. You flat out just have no heart moving those kids. They are the life of maize high school and we all love each one of them dearly.

Please let these kids stay at their school!! The peer models at this school LOVE their special friends and make them feel like "part of the family"!!!! Which makes this school so special!!

As a parent of a young adult with special needs I know the importance of stability. Making the students change schools during their high school years would be very disruptive.

2 of my son's with autism went here but to uproot and change what these kids know will be so hard on them please think about the kids change is very hard and can be traumatic

I believe in setting an example for all kids and adults that learning and growing together is the best way to success...separating and dividing only breeds confusion and stunts growth of a society/community. Are we going backwards in time??? How would you feel if your child was affected? WE need to stand together...and blend the 'clicks' of society...to work together!

I taught for 32 years and these students learn so much from their peers! You spend a whole school life teaching every child that some day they to will see these students as their own classmates! You as a district and COOP should be so proud of your student body at MHS don't destroy the special Eagle bond these students have! Special Ed takes a long time to feel established don't take that scucessful feeling away from them! Leave them at MHS
