I think you are working hard, and in the proper way to have your dress code concerns recognized. But I think you should take into consideration High School in a place to learn also to prepair for your future. I don't feel halter tops and short shorts are proper attire for school. I heel like if you choose to wear a tank top, no part of your bras should be exposed.
Yes we are aware you all have knees and elbows, and you argue they should be allowed to be seen and I agree if they are exposed in a dignified manner. We all know you also like to be fashionable, as I do, but please do it in a dignified manner. Please hold your school up to be a place of education. Look in the mirror and ask your self, would I dress like this for a job interview? Just think about it please.

I don't even go to Medina anymore (I did last year as a freshman, and I had encounters with getting in trouble with the dress code) but I am totally in support of changing the dress code! At my new school there's a dress code but it's not really enforced, so people just wear whatever they want. Which is totally okay, no one gets distracted or anything unreasonable like that. I think that people should be able to wear whatever they want! There should be no rules to what you should or shouldn't wear. Whatever makes you comfortable and happy! :) :)

saying shoulders or knees can make a boy not focus is so wrong on so many levels. How about when boys sag their pants? Who's yelling at them? What about cross country boys that come to school in short-shorts? The school policy is ridiculous and teachers wear innapropriate items. I have pictures of Mrs. McCabe- THE PRINCIPAL THAT ENFORCES DRESS CODE THE MOST. Mrs. Oehler always shows her knees and shoulders. I can list so many teachers. Mrs. Schaffer, Mrs. Caliacovo, and many more.

We need to teach our boys to be respectful of young ladies and let girls know that it's not their fault (usually) that boys say the things they do!
