And some people have band DURING school (12*) and in the summer when it's 90* and ur marching around on that blacktop for 45 min it gets so hot that u feel sick and have to sit out which doesn't help you or the band do anybetter and we don't have time to change before 12* so I think that we should be able to wear shorts and tanks

School dress code should reflect what everyday people (women) wear out and about at the mall, movies and restaurants. Shorts, tank tops and yoga/leggings pants are seen everywhere and worn by women of all ages. Get with the times Medina!

if I were you guys I wouldn't even put up this effort and just wear what you want anyways because half the time I see girls wearing leggings and they don't get in trouble so this is just an effort wasted I think

I agree with this 100% . I feel that girls and guys should wear whatever they want, but I mean if your boobs or butt(as in if your shorts don't cover your whole butt) are showing to much then that's when someone should get dress coded.

Please keep these comments appropriate... If you want to see this happen you need to recognize this is actually serious, and that I will be using this petition later when I meet with Mr. Harrison. Please realize I can delete your comments anyways as well. Thanks.

The educational system should try using their own education to make common sense decisions when it comes to dress codes. Really spaghetti straps are so distracting or someone w "red" koolaid dyed hair is preventing your kid from concentrating. Really?!? Clearly this system does NOT prepare kids for the real world.
