Petition for Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to keep to his word and deliver the MetLine Extension

Sadiq Khan should resign for blocking the Met line extension.

We need watford underground connected to Watford Junction station. this will allow many commuters life easy

Mr Khan seems to be standing in the way of democracy - again - and is showing he does not have the interests of either Londoners or those living outside the capital at heart.

This was agreed back in 2015 and funding has been suitably sought - failure to deliver will severely tarnish your reputation and your chances of a second mayoralship

Very short sited decision!! Why not let TFL take on the Met line extension and the Abbey Line!! Trains from Euston to St.Albans

As a local resident, I'm disappointed that improved links to the junction and wider benefits to communities such as west watford won't be realised.

Watford needs the improved transport link of the extension to the met line. Roads are getting more clogged up with the growing number of developments being built. Watford has a small centre and can't really cope with the speed in which its growing so needs this rail line desperately

A bus? A train load of passengers on a bus? Ha Is that a Hertfordshire bus or a TfL bus? If it's a Hertfordshire bus he won't be providing anything will he? Not the first time he has broken a promise and I doubt it will be the last

This has to go ahead!

Absolute disgrace.

The original intention of the Met was to reach Watford Town Centre 93 years ago - getting to the Junction is almost as good!

Just another broken promise by this mayor to add to all the others that he made to get elected, then has broken. Simply spends all his time blaming others for the ills of London instead of getting on and solving them in a constructive manner. Dragging London down to lowest level rather than boosting it as Boris did.

This is not good enough Sadiq Khan! Watford residents feel very angry about this and rightly so! It doesn't t seem as though he was interested in the first place.

I am shocked at this unjustifiable u-turn by the Labour Mayor of London - this lets down Watford and London and is in my view thoroughly dishonourable.

I believe the Metropolitan extension should go ahead as originally promised. It offers significant improvements to commuters on the Watford area.

Watford needs this rail link - extremely disappointed at Sadiq Khan's broken promise
