Please revisit the decision not to fund. This link will improve connectivity in the Watford area, stimulating growth, jobs and provide new potential for much needed housing stock.

Improving travel infrastructure to thriving towns like Watford which are on the periphery of London offer mutual economic benefits. Why are you now reneging on this decision?

I am really disappointed that you have not delivered on your promise to connect the Metropolitan line to Watford Junction station. Please reconsider.

A real shame this is link is being held up especially with the recent growth and development of this area of Watford. We lost the rail service to Watford West many years ago and now the traffic at rush hour is frequently at a standstill on Whippendell and Rickmansworth Roads.

Very, very disappointed in you, your team and what seems to suggest a lack of integrity and follow-through on your promises. You still have time to change your mind!

Sadie Khan is a hypocrite. When he became Mayor, he wanted control of all railways within London and surrounding areas, now he has reneged on the deal Boris made because he has a dislike of Boris Johnson.

A shameful decision by Sadiq Khan, who has let down thousands of people by this decision.

Typical self centred decision by a totally biased anti anything that doesn’t suit his ethnic origin should be prosecuted for theft of monies wasted on this project by the tax payers of Watford and Hertfordshire some 120,000,000 pounds.

This line is essential for the people who live and work in Watford but nothing that Mr Khan does surprises me any more.

Why does the cost keep on escalating by such a vast percentage? Was the original costing incompetent or is there a ripoff being attempted?

This extension must go ahead. Without the necessary Business Case and projected figures to hand, it will surely pay for itself, many times over in the future.

A disgrace and he should be ashamed of himself, he has no idea about Watford, he’s clueless

We hope Mr Kahn will once more support this very important project which will benefit the people from the ‘great’ Watford.

This is a vital commenting link that is very popular, it services school children locally as well.

Watford needs this met line extension so we can enjoy the same benefits that Londoners have, instead of having to use National Rail and pay exorbitant fares. A bus connection is not an alternative because of traffic congestion and Watford buses are also expensive!

If you want clean air Mr Khan, then making good on transport links is essential. Shows you are just full of hot air and very disappointing
