Words are inadequate......how dare this jumped-up little man presume to block an important project like this for his silly little political game playing! He should have no say over Watford at all. This issue has thrown up a strange anomaly in local government which needs dealing with!

This line is essential for people from the Southern side of the catchment area road traffic is now so horrific to get to the WGH the train is the obvious solution along with people coming from places like Pinner etc who want to catch West Coast Line trains Why has the negativity taken hold on Khans part

He is not interested in us because we are not in his area of London and thinks we have plenty of money to drive.

It must go ahead. It will take pressure off the overcrowded Watford junction to Euston route o

Very disappointed. What happens to the funding already given? Hopefully the funding was ring-fenced so he can't use it elsewhere. Glad I don't live in London

A lot of new companies have brought there business here relying on this !
How many more promises will he break ? We should not be going ahead with billions of pounds for the other projects he supports ! People loosing homes and our countryside !
Well at least now we may not be having the 25 storey building built as they said if the ext rail did not go ahead neither would the building for the flats ! With no parking !!!

a sensible, necessary extension to the met line that will bring benefits to 1000s of people each day. Keeping your word is an important matter for a politician.

This project must go ahead. Having a tube connection from Watford Junction is hugely more beneficial than the present arrangements.

I cannot believe that Mr Khan has gone back on his word, especially as funding is in place!

This issue has been discussed for at least 20 years and finally Richard secured the funds and high level support. for it to go ahead. It is absolutely essential to help commuters and ease congestion on the main line. A quite disgrarceful decision which must be reversed!

Woefully visited by HCC, then costs rose and a shortfall existed. Khan said project would go ahead if shortfall was met. Funding gap filled, then he reneged on his promise. Can such distrust be allowed by the public?

This extension would be a very valuable asset to the Town of Watford.
