A disgraceful decision by Sadiq Khan who is not fit to bare the title of Mayor of London. Shame on this dishonourable and untrustworthy individual.

You only have to look at a map to realise the Met line extension is an obvious improvement and should have been done years ago.

This link must go ahead, it will benefit North/West Londoners too in that they will enjoy easier access to the West Coast mainline services without having to travel into the capital.

This u-turn is exactly the reason people lose faith I in waste of space politicians. Just when I thought the mayor of London was starting to do a worthy job he proves me wrong

Quite bizarre that the Mayor is allowed to play party politics on this issue, going back on agreement after agreement. Shame on him.

Watford Junction is no longer fit for purpose and Watford needs the extra transport capacity

At a time when the building of new housing is being encouraged, in the South East Of England, not least by the Mayor of London himself, it is imperative that the area's infrastructure keeps up with the demands of a growing population and the resultant extra journeys required by all those additional people. The Met Line Extension is an important improvement to this infrastructure, and is urgently required to reduce traffic congestion in Watford and the surrounding areas, including North London boroughs. I hope that Mr. Khan will reconsider and reverse this decision.

This makes so much sense, and it just seems wrong that the Met line does not already go to Watford junction when it such a busy station bringing tourists to Watford frequently.
Making Watford as easily accessible as possible would only bring more growth to the area.

The Mayor of London seems to be playing petty party politics. He should stand by his commitment and that of his predecessor, accept the long term view and not keep changing his mind. This is no way to run a capital city.

It is really disappointing that Sadiq khan has rejected the metropolitan line extension. I would like to sign petition against his decision and would support metropolitan line extension as agreed in 2015.

Unacceptable decision given all the work that Richard has put in to get this deal over the line for Watford and the surrounding community. Typical of labour not to see the bigger picture!!
