We need recycling bins in all residents halls and all buildings on campus. We should have a couple outside on campus as well such has the trash bins between the Sak and the town houses and by the trash bin by house 4, lot K & J. Also don't forget sparky's. Every trash room should have a big enough bin to accommodate everyone in the building.
We NEED to recycle more. The only remotely eco-friendly-recyclying-supportive bin we have is near the den and not only does it require an account, but due to the fact it is mechanical there are technology glitches often! We need to recycle more!!!!
There is so much more we can do! Prospective students and parents are looking for this in any campus. And sustainability initiatives reduce cost over time!
Merrimack and its student body should constantly be mindful of the environment. Recycling is a very basic first step that could improve Merrimack's carbon footprint. By making initiatives for a more green campus, we show that we value our environment and the Earth we inhabit, and sets an example for other institutions.
It is really disappointing to have to throw away plastics and cardboard and paper when they could be recycled campus wide. My high school had a better recycling program.
Every college campus should have recycling capabilities.
That's a great idea. Merrimack to go little more ahead. Good job folks

I feel like as college students we use a lot of plastic water bottles. Just throwing them away creates a lot more trash. By recycling I think we can help elimanate the build up on trash and create a better environment. I hate it recycling and I think Merrimack needs to do more of it, especially in the dorms.
