Make Mercer University Atlanta a Tobacco Free Campus.
In an effort to protect our community, Students at Mercer University Atlanta decided to make a decision and protect themselves from the tobacco epidemic.
This is one of the reasons students launched the Tobacco/Smoke Free Student Force. We created this campaign to gather signatures to show the administration students' commitment to this cause.

The feedback from students regarding the health risks of secondhand smoke has been both consistent and illuminating. I am currently preparing a formal presentation for the administration to outline the necessity of this policy change.

The level of engagement regarding this initiative demonstrates a clear consensus among our peers. This momentum confirms that our community values health and is prepared to pursue meaningful policy change.

sick of picking up cig butts everywhere i walk on campus. enough is enough.

about time mercer catches up with other schools. smoke free is the way to go.
The University System of Georgia adopted a tobacco free policy in 2014. If all the public universities in Georgia can go tobacco-free, I think Mercer's Atlanta campus can, too! http://www.usg.edu/tobaccofree/#top
