It is my goal to help adults get better help when it comes to mental health issues! I am focusing on Anorexia at the moment but I intend to cover ALL mental illnesses in time! I want there to be better help and help that is free! I want the professionals to actually understand what they are dealing with and to help the person as an individual. It's time we stopped pigeon holing people with anorexia and having just one method of treatment! We are all different we all tick differently just because we are suffering from the same illness does NOT make us the exact copy of each other. What works for one person may not for another and I really want people to start realising that! I would like more units to be opened up with an individual care packet with it. Aslo one major thing I am petitioning for is a ban on media being allowed to publish pictures of Anorexics! It does more damage then help and I believe it needs to stop NOW! Even though it is really good they are covering Anorexia, It's the wrong type of coverage and I am fighting to stop this! Please if you believe as I do in better treatment, better understanding (especially by professionals who are meant to help) and a ban on bad coverage then please sign my petition!
