Mental Health Assistance Dogs

Please Please help us something so simple with huge benefits.

I have got a highly trained dog for my autistic 22 yr old daughter & appaulled that I cant register the dog to be accepted as an official support dog. Mental health & challenging behaviours can be just as devastating on one's quality of life as physical disabilities. Without this dog my daughter would commit suicide. I want her to be able to take her dog where-ever any guide dog can go. The law is discriminating disabilities.

For this to come true and actually happen would be a dream come true for people like me! I can not leave the house whatsoever! But I can if it means walking my Labrador but that's only on the streets and not in shops unfortunatley so I have no proper way of life :( this would be amazing if it was a thing

This is such an important issue, which I have a personal investment in. My broher has Asperger's Syndrome and finds it impossible to leave the house without his dog. As she is not a registered 'assistance dog', she is not allowed into many stores limiting where my brother feels comfortable going. I know how beneficial pets can be for children and young people with Asperger's and other ASD's and I'm at a loss as to why they are not yet a recognised assistance dog category.

i have a dog who give me a reason to get up in the late morning. I find it hard to go into public place and feel much safer with my dog. I would find it easier to go into social places eg cafes libraries shops etc if my dog were allowed in. I live a very isolated life because i find being with people so scary. It is much easier if my dog is with me.
