I don't live in Melissa, but some of my family does. But even if I didn't know anyone who lives there, I would still sign this petition. Every person in that town is important to someone. Please fix the siren.

We moved here in August from Rowlett in fact from the area where the Tornado hit on Saturday December 26. As now a resident of Melissa I am shocked and disappointed the city has not maintained the Tornado Siren there is absolutely no excuse to not make sure the residents of this town have this working for their safety.

Seriously? Paint the tower and use a crisp load of money. Broken siren is for life threatening emergencies, we shouldn't have to have a petition at all.
