I first heard about this on the BBC. You can see for yourself, I've pasted a link to the story below. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-12262797 "Plans will be revealed by the government this week that could result in the biggest sale of public land in England since World War II". The Governent says it will build in safeguards for bio-diversity and public access when it considers the sale of 100% of English woodlands! Scotland and Wales have already ruled out privatisation of their woodland - good for them! C'mon people! This is PUBLIC LAND .. OUR LAND! What right has the Government to just decide to sell it! Please help me .. Lets fight back and tell them "Oi! No! Get off our land".
